गोण्डा विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर मनवर नदी को जीवन देने का काम शुरू, सांसद कीर्तिवर्धन सिंह ने भूमि पूजन कर, औपचारिक शुरुआत की

प्रतिदिन 04 हजार से अधिक मनरेगा श्रमिकों को मिलेगा रोजगार
नदी के तट पर रोपित किए जाऐगें 55 हजार से अधिक पौधे
गोण्डा जिले में विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर माननीय मुख्यमंत्री जी की घोषणा से आच्छादित पौराणिक मनवर नदी के पुनरूद्धार कार्य का औपचारिक शुभारम्भ किया गया। सांसद गोण्डा कीर्तिवर्धन सिंह, आयुक्त देवीपाटन मण्डल महेन्द्र कुमार, विधायक मेहनौन विनय द्विवेदी, डीएम डा0 नितिन बंसल तथा सीडीओ शशांक त्रिपाठी ने विकासखण्ड इटियााथेक अन्तर्गत ग्राम सिसई बहलोलपुर में भूमि पूजन कर पुनरूद्धार कार्य का शुभारम्भ किया।
भूमि पूजन के उपरान्त सांसद गोण्डा, विधायक मेहनौन तथा आयुक्त देवीपाटन मण्डल ने स्वयं फावड़ा चलाकर नदी में खुदाई का काम शुरू किया। इस अवसर पर सांसद गोण्डा ने प्रदेश की विलुप्त प्राय हो रही नदियों को पुनः जीवन देने के प्रदेश सरकार के फैसले पर धन्यवाद ज्ञापित करते हुए कहा कि नदियां हमारी संस्कृति का हिस्सा हैं और जीवनदायिनी भी हैं। नदियों को पुनः जीवन मिलने से एक ओर जहां हमारा पर्यावरण सुरक्षित होगा वहीं दूसरी ओर कोरोना वैश्विक महामारी केे दौरान स्थानीय तथा प्रवासी श्रमिकों को पर्याप्त रोजगार भी मिलेगा। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि नदियों के पुनरूद्धार का कार्य पूर्ण होने के बाद नदियों में पानी आने के मार्गों की भी सफाई कराई जाए जिससे नदी में पानी आता रहे और उसका अस्तित्व बरकरार रहे।
विधायक मेहनौन विनय द्विवेदी ने प्रदेश के मा0 मुख्यमंत्री और जिला प्रशासन का धन्यवाद व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि मनवर नदी का पुनरूद्धार एक बहुत बड़़ी पहल है। विलुप्ति की कगार पर पहुंच चुकी इस पौराणिक महत्व की नदी का पुनरूद्धार कार्य हो जाने से इसकी गरिमा और महत्व पुनः स्थापित होगा, इसके साथ ही मनरेगा श्रमिकों को स्थानीय स्तर पर रोजगार भी मुहैया होेगा।
मुख्य विकास अधिकारी शशांक त्रिपाठी ने मनवर नदी के पुुनरूद्धार कार्यक्रम के बारे में विस्तार से बताते हुए कहा कि दो वर्ष पहले प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री जी द्वारा जिले की दो नदियों मनवर व टेंढ़ी नदी के पुनरूद्धार का कार्य कराए जाने की घोषणा की थी जिसके फलस्वरूप जनपद गोण्डा में प्रथम चरण में पौराणिक मनवर नदी के पुरूद्धार का काम शुरू कराया गया है।
उन्होंने बताया कि विकासखण्ड इटियाथोक के ग्राम सिसई बहलालेपुर में 692 मनेरगा व 155 प्र्रवासी श्रमिकों सहित 847 श्रमिकों को रोजगार देते हुए मनरेगा के तहत नदी में खुदाई का काम शुरू कराया गया है। वहीं नदी क्षेत्र में पड़ने वाले जिले के पांच ब्लाकों इटियााथोक, मुजेहना, पण्डरीकृपाल, मनकापुर तथा छपिया ब्लाक से होते हुए इन ब्लाकों के 40 ग्राम पंचायतों से 82 किलोमीटर लम्बी दूरी तय करने वाली नदी के पुरूद्धार काम शुरू करा दिया गया है जहंा पर लगभग 4 हजार मनरेगा श्रमिक काम कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि नदी के पुरूद्धार में लगभग 01 हजार प्रवासी श्रमिकों को भी रोजगार दिया जाएगा। इसके अतिरिक्त 82 किलेामीटर लम्बी नदी के दोनों तटों पर लगभग 55 हजार पौधों को रोपित कराने का कार्य वन विभाग द्वारा शुरू कर दिया गया है। लगाए जाने वाले पौधों में मुख्यतः पाकड़, बरगद, अर्जुन, जामुन आदि के पौधे शामिल हैं।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान पुलिस अधीक्षक आर0के0 नैयर, डीएफओ आर0के0 तिवारी, डीसी मनरेगा हरिश्चन्द्र प्रजापति, बीडीओ अजीत मिश्रा, एडीओ विकास मिश्रा, सांसद प्रतिनिधि रमाशंकर मिश्र, विधायक प्रतिनिधि मनोज तिवारी, थानाध्यक्ष इटियाथोक बृजानन्द सिंह सहित अन्य गणमान्य उपस्थित रहे।

After Bhoomi Poojan, MP Gonda, MLA Mehaoun and Commissioner Devipatan Mandal started digging in the river by running a shovel themselves. On this occasion, MP Gonda thanked the state government's decision to rejuvenate the rivers that are dying in the state and said that rivers are part of our culture and are also life-giving. On the one hand, our environment will be safe due to the regeneration of rivers, on the other hand, local and migrant workers will also get adequate employment during the Corona global epidemic. Chief Development Officer Shashank Tripathi, while elaborating about the revival program of Manwar river, said that two years ago, the Chief Minister of the state had announced the work of revival of two rivers of the district, Manwar and Tendhi river, due to which the district Gonda In the first phase, the work of purification of the mythical Manwar river has been started.
He informed that excavation work has been started in the river under MNREGA, employing 847 workers including 692 Manerga and 155 migrant workers in village Sisai Bahlalepur of development block Itiathok. At the same time, through the five blocks of the districts of Itiathok, Mujehna, Pandrikripal, Mankapur and Chapia blocks falling in the river area, the restoration work of the river, which has a distance of 82 km from the 40 gram panchayats of these blocks, has been started where about 4 Thousands of MNREGA workers are working.
