गोण्डा :- 82 किलोमीटर लम्बी पौराणिक मनवर नदी के पुरूद्धार का कार्य शुरूl
विलुप्त प्राय हो रही नदियों को जीवन देने का काम जनपद में युद्ध स्तर पर शुरू कर दिया गया है। नदियों के पुनरूद्धार को लेकर मुुख्य विकास अधिकारी शशांक त्रिपाठी ने लाॅक डाउन के दरम्यान ही रूपरेखा तैयार कराकर प्रवासी मजदूरों व मनरेगा श्रमिकों के माध्यम से कार्य शुरू करा दिया गया।
सीडीओ श्री त्रिपाठी ने गुरूवार को जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री जी की घोषणा में शामिल जनपद की मनवर नदी के पुनरूद्धार का काम शुरू करा दिया गया है। बताते चलें कि दो वर्ष पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री जी द्वारा विलुप्त हो रही नदियों के पुरूद्धार की घोषणा की गई थी जिसके क्रम में जनपद गोण्डा में प्रथम चरण में पौराणिक मनवर नदी के पुरूद्धार का काम शुरू कराया गया है।
ज्ञातव्य है कि मनवर नदी जिले के पांच ब्लाकों इटियााथोक, मुजेहना, पण्डरीकृपाल, मनकापुर तथा छपिया ब्लाक से होते हुए इन ब्लाकों के 40 ग्राम पंचायतों से 82 किलोमीटर लम्बी दूरी तय करने वाली नदी के पुरूद्धार काम शुरू कराया गया है जहंा पर लगभग 4 हजार मनरेगा श्रमिक काम कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि नदी के पुरूद्धार में लगभग 01 हजार प्रवासी श्रमिकों को भी रोजगार दिया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि शुक्रवार 05 जून को विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर विकासखण्ड इटियाथोक अन्तर्गत ग्राम सिसई बहलोलपुर में वृक्षारोपण व पुरूद्धार कार्य का औपचारिक रूप से प्रारम्भ किया जाएगा जिसका उद्घाटन सांसद गोण्डा, आयुक्त देवीपाटन, जिलाधिकारी गोण्डा तथा विधायक मेहनौन व अन्य अधिकारियों द्वारा किया जाएगा। सीडीओ ने बताया कि मनरेगा कार्य और वृक्षारोपण की मानीटरिंग के लिए सभी 40 ग्राम पंचायतों में नोडल अधिकारियों की तैनाती की गई है जो स्वयं की देखरेख में कार्य कराएगें।

The work of giving life to the rivers that are dying in extinction has been started on a war footing in the district. The Chief Development Officer, Shashank Tripathi, on the revival of the rivers, prepared a framework within the lock-down and started work through migrant laborers and MNREGA workers.
Giving information on Thursday, CDO Shri Tripathi said that the work of revival of Manwar river in the district included in the announcement of the Chief Minister has been started. Let it be said that two years ago, the Chief Minister had announced the purification of the extinct rivers, according to which, in the first phase in the district Gonda, the work of purification of the mythical Manwar river has been started.
It is known that through the five blocks of Etiathok, Mujehna, Pandrikripal, Mankapur and Chapia blocks of Manwar river district, the restoration work of the river covering 82 kilometers long distance from 40 gram panchayats of these blocks has been started where about 4 thousand MNREGA Workers are working. He informed that about 01 thousand migrant laborers have also been given employment in the purification of the river. He said that on Friday 05 June, on the occasion of World Environment Day, the tree plantation and purification work will be formally started in village Sisai Bahlolpur under development block Itiathok, which will be inaugurated by MP Gonda, Commissioner Devipatan, District Magistrate Gonda and MLA Mehaun and other officials. . The CDO said that nodal officers have been deployed in all the 40 gram panchayats for monitoring MNREGA work and tree plantations, which will do the work under their supervision.
